This bold check pattern is very trendy nowadays, but it takes origin from the Scottish Tartan era. It became popular in Pennsylvania in the mid 19th century and associated with lumberjacks, who used to wear the check woolen shirts, while singing “come as you are” during their hard working hours. Our fabric is made in Italy, in red/black and blue/black variations, 100% wool.
